This was posted two years ago, and it still is such a strong reminder of how grateful I am for everything in my life. David Bowie was an enormous influence in my life, and even a week after, he will be forever missed. And he loved books. He loved reading. What an absolute fucking idol.

This was posted three years ago, but it just seems fitting for today. RIP Alan Rickman.
Just a quick shout out (and MASSIVE thank you!) to Stripes Publishing and @DOYAREADME for sending me a fantastically spooky book! I positively squealed with joy at receiving this ARC!
Here’s the summary:
We’re waiting for you to come and play. Dunvegan School for Girls has been closed for many years. Converted into a family home, the teachers and students are long gone. But they left something behind…Sophie arrives at the old schoolhouse to spend the summer with her cousins. Brooding Cameron with his scarred hand, strange Lilias with a fear of bones and Piper, who seems just a bit too good to be true. And then there’s her other cousin. The girl with a room full of antique dolls. The girl that shouldn’t be there. The girl that died.
Stay tuned for my review! Even though Halloween is over, I can already tell it’s going to be a delightfully freezing read for winter!
